General Rules

I - DATE OF THE FESTIVAL:
The FESTIVAL OF COLLEGE CHOIR GROUPS OF BELO HORIZONTE will be hold in November 07, 08 and 09 of 2003, in Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil.

II - OBJECTIVE:
The FESTIVAL has as its objectives promote the cultural exchange, integrate and strengthen the relations among colleges and the audience through the spread of the choir music.

IV - PARTICIPATION:
Will be able to participate of the FESTIVAL national and international choir groups linked to colleges and / or universities.

V – INSCRIPTION:
The inscriptions of the choir groups participants must be done during the period of September 1st to October 1st of 2003, through the website of the FESTIVAL www.festivaldecorais.com.br or through telephone (+55 0XX 31) 3425-5625. There will be charged a US$50.00 (fifty American dollars) fee. This fee covers the expenses with the materials the will be given to the choirs participating. After the confirmation of the subscription, the festival organization will send the information needed for the deposit of the fee. The organization will also ask for the choir to send pictures of the conductor, of the choir group, repertoire and a small historic of the group to further publications. (Through Television, written media, spoken media and electronic media).

VI – TRANSPORTATION AND ACCOMMODATION:
The transportation, food and accommodation will be of exclusively care of each choir group participant.
In the Website of the FESTIVAL you can find a list of hotels that are indicated by the organization of the Festival.

VII - CONCERTS:
- Each choir inscribed will have presentations in special places previously scheduled;
- Each choir inscribed will have a determined time to its presentations.

VIII – REPERTOIRE:
- The choir groups may perform a Cappella or use instruments to accompany the group.
- All groups must practice the arrangement of the Ary Barroso´s song "Isso aqui o que é" , that will be sent as MIDI file and Encore file after the confirmation of the subscription, for presentations with the other groups participants.

IX – FESTIVAL PARTY:
There will be a party hosted by the FESTIVAL organization on the Saturday (11/08), for the participants meeting and entertainment.

X - SCHEDULE:
The event program will be sent and published up to a month before the FESTIVAL.
